A powerful expansion of the artist’s inquiry into organic intrusion and material gravity. Shifting from a horizontal trajectory into an elevated, kinetic gesture, Parasite II uses tightly bound, industrial steel cables to mimic a mutating organism rearing upward into the viewer's space. The dense, twisted core loops violently onto itself, creating a concentrated knot of psychological and physical pressure before fracturing at its base into frayed, root-like tendrils. These unraveled elements anchor the sculpture to the floor like a botanical root system or mycelial network, mapping the delicate, uncanny line where heavy industrial fabrication takes on the predatory grace of the natural world.
