A striking site-specific installation and sculptural intervention that directly manifests the intersection of industrial fabrication and the natural environment. Suspended from a raw tree limb, the sculpture features a thick, flawlessly polished steel rod that tightly wraps itself into a dense mechanical spiral, mimicking a parasitic vine or a metallic constrictor. The hyper-smooth, light-reflective surface of the industrial medium stands in visceral, sharp contrast against the rough, mossy, and unpredictable texture of the wild landscape. By removing the sculpture from the sterile gallery context and embedding it into the forest, the work explores themes of containment, ecological intrusion, and the uncanny coexistence of human manufacturing within the organic world.
